Distractions, overwhelm, and toxic stress can impact your performance -- and your long term health.

For most people, stress levels are too high. We are overworked, stressed at home, and experiencing stress-related health conditions like anxiety, insomnia, headaches, and back pain. Our relationships may be suffering, and we may feel there is simply no time for us to have a moment of peace. We see the same stress levels in our children, which makes it even worse.

In this class, my goal is to decrease your stress levels and help you develop the foundational skills you need to achieve your goals as a leader. You’ll learn how to manage your energy, reduce your stress levels, and anchor yourself so you can hit bigger goals -- no matter what your circumstances might be.

Mindfulness is a critical life skill.

Mindfulness practice has been shown to improve resiliency, attention, positive emotions, and emotional regulation. It can help you lower your blood pressure and improve your immunity. It’s even been shown that the impact of mindfulness practice trickles down through organizations and teams.

Mindfulness will help you develop your emotional intelligence, see past your blind spots, understand your biases, leverage your strengths, perform better under pressure, and grow your capacity to manage change.

You’ll also get better at accessing your creativity and responding to others with compassion and consciousness. You'll see improvements in your work-life balance, time management, productivity, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and executive presence.
